52nd Annual Rock, Gem, and Mineral Show

What to do, see, and visit:

• Dealers of all things rock, gem, mineral, fossil, lapidary, and jewelry related items. See and patronize our 40+ dealers.
• Special Attraction this year only: The American Woman sculpture by Francisco Sotomayer. Learn more about the artist and see the "American Woman"
• Demonstrators of a wide variety of rock-related arts. See how a piece of rock becomes a piece of jewelry or a sculpture.
• Listen to our dynamic speakers throughout the day on a variety of interesting topics. Speakers at 1PM and 3 PM daily.
• Visit our extraordinary displays of members', dealers', and special guests' collections.
• Kids Area - Kids can earn a patch and get a beginning rock collection by visiting this area. Special programs and fliers for Cub Scouts, Junior Girl Scouts, Brownie Girl Scouts, and Science Teachers. Go here for fliers for individual programs.
• Silent Auction: Come bid on some fantastic raw materials for your next lapidary project.
• Hourly Door Prizes and a special opportunity to purchase tickets for our Lucky Dip Drawing.
• Fluorescent Mineral Display: See nature's spectacular glow-in-the-dark show.
• Flintknapping demonstrated all day, both days. Flintknapping is the art of the making of arrowheads, knives, and spearheads.
• Opportunity to earn a free prize (while supplies last). Come to the show to find out how. It's a secret.
